Big Wild brought the energy with his live percussion and DJ set. Seeing someone create live is always a treat. Mixing and drums live is an amazing thing to see. You are simply engaged at the work that is going on in front of you. What makes it even better, is the beautiful music that accompanies the action and art you are witnessing.
In between sets the crowd moved about South Side Ballroom, which covers sq feet. Outside on the balcony you could catch festival family catching up, trading kandi and sharing ideas. That’s the most amazing thing about EDM events like this. Total strangers and people from various backgrounds come together for community and their love of music. This allows new dialogue and ideas to move around the city. Raving for the win!
